I was asked where it was set, and on a whim I said "Detroit", so there's that.

Pacifist is in the "anniversary" corebook, which is what I have; so is erased and a few others.

Looking at the "Compulsion" quality from Runner's Companion, I first notice that it's actually under "Poor Self Control - Compulsive", which is really bad editing.

Then then I notice that it's the sort of quality that can easily be used to justify stupid behavior and quickly lead to a TPK, which is something I do not want, so no, you can't take it.

Can I get less Pink Mohawk please?

Well, a character can have bad behavior anyway, he just won't get BP for it.  8)

Hmm, how about an elf orc poser street nun who fights with two iron bars tied together with a cord that she calls her nun chucks?

Edit: I guess that treads dangerously close into supers territory. I’m having fun right now with absurd character concepts, but whatever I play won’t be that outlandish.

True, but there's a difference between "Im playing a suicidal goofball" and "the rules say I Have To play a suicidal goofball". It's like giving blanket permission to play Chaotic Evil.

Other details:

Everyone has the same fixer, L 2 C 4 (you have to pay for him, you can get more/less loyalty if you like, but connection logically needs to stay the same).

Please buy 3 months worth of lifestyle to start out.

Elves can't take orc poser, just humans. Orks can take elf poser though; explain that one to me.

Rough Draft of combat mage

Edit: oops, it didn't include my Power Focus (2) or Sustaining Focus (3)

looks reasonable.

What is your lifestyle and docwagon? I went ahead and put you into the spreadsheet; if you're at "squatter" and no docwagon, then you've got 55 nuyen left, which makes sense, but 6 unspent build points, which doesn't.

in wihich case you've got 1,545 nuyen left over and are 2 build points over the limit.

In case you missed it:
Please buy 3 months worth of lifestyle to start out.

I'd recommend dropping your pistols to one and getting a specialization.

Well, I’ve managed to read through the mechanics chapter. I’m thinking of making a dwarf weapon specialist.

Here's an updated sheet.  I made some changes, but it still doesn't have my power focus (2) or sustaining focus (3) on it.  Also it says I have 1 month of luxury lifestyle when I really have 3 months of low lifestyle.

I’d hope to get to it, but I haven’t had a chance to read through the combat section of the book. :(

Thomas: printing is buggy; it will always print sheet 3 (and only sheet 3); if you scroll down to where that sheet in on the CharSheets tab, you can see where it doesn't display Firewall/system correctly, and where it does not correctly update lifestyle/docwagon. If you turn off the sheet protection, you can adjust these fields and copy the working lifestyle link from sheet 1 or 2.

The sheet in general is very handy, and does most of the math and sorting for you, but it does have some bugs.

Thomas: your character looks good; you seem to have 555 nuyen left over. Two minor issues and one comment:

issue 1: You seem to be missing earbuds/headphones, which will make it alot easier for you to actually use your subvocal microphone inconspicuously.

issue 2: You have a smartlink on your glasses, but your gun does not come with a smartlink built in (just a laser sight). I'm honestly not sure whether or not this counts, but I feel that it should be mentioned.

comment: You do not have a Sim Module or Trodes, so your character will not be able to interact with AR/VR, and your only connection to the matrix will be the tiny screen and tiny keypad on your commlink. Given your character, this may not be an issue - I just want to make sure you are aware.

Kenada: I am still checking all the little bits and pieces, but you are 20 Build Points over: Your attributes were 200 Build Points, and you did them correctly; you also did your edge correctly (not counting it in the attributes total) but you forgot to count it anywhere else, either.

I would drop some combination of Blades, Heavy Weapons, and Throwing Weapons, and get Dodge up to 4 (good for when you need to take cover). Or dump the firearms group and pick just one to focus on. You have lots and lots of weapon skills, about 3 times as much as anyone else.
