D&D campaigns?
« on: November 01, 2006, 10:28:32 PM »
Hey-
Are there any D&D campaigns (or even an adventurelet or two) currently ongoing at MGAOSU? If not, would anyone want to get one going?

There was a game but the DM had to stop because of school pressures.  There might be demand if you want to run, you can see this saturday.

Zombie thread, arise!

I have been getting a few messages asking about D&D on email as well as Facebook.  Are there any campaign ideas that everyone would be happy with?  As in, not utter chaos and such.

One idea I had was to make the PCs mostly Tieflings living in a city protected by devils.  The devils are kind of nasty, but the citizens are pretty good people even if they all carry a demonic taint.  Angels continually attack the city, and they are not too kind to the mortals living there.  Why do the angels attack?  What secrets lie buried in this city?  Why do devils go out of their way to protect and support a city of mortals?  Why has Zachary Allen Starkey been on the front page of half of Columbus's newspapers?  Answering these questions would be the driving focus of the campaign.

Does anyone else have anything?

I think the most important question is, "what kind of loot can we find and whom do we have to kill to get it?"

I have only one question: What's a Tiefling?

Well, for an answer to that question, you can either use Google Image Search or Wikipedia.  The image search is more comical.

They're mortals with demon or devil ancestors.
