So, the 'first" session, scheduled for 1/29, was canceled due to lack of DM attendance.

According to the campaign rules, there is no valid excuse for not attending. If a player can't come, for any reason, he does not get XP. So, logically, if the DM is unable to attend, all the monsters and NPCs should lose XP. Of course, this is rather difficult to implement; it would be easier to give XP to each player that was going to attend instead.

How much experience do we get?

This is not a campaign rule. It’s the rules as written.

If a player can't come, for any reason, he does not get XP.

Characters do not grow if they are not participating.

I updated the Important Information topic to provide an option to receive XP for absent players. I’m going to lock this thread since it’s somewhat purposeless.
