It's a subversion; the punchline is that there is no punchline. It's deep.

Too bad every kid in the world tells it like it's actually funny - kids don't get it, and then the effect is ruined.

Ugh. I don't like watching these videos.  They're 7 to 10 minutes long and whatever message they're trying to  convey is lost due to being completely irritating.  The message could be much better presented by getting random people who can't act to speak the scripts, and maybe pretend to act while they're doing it, or just posting the script as text.
