The time machine is preprogrammed with those five targets and only has enough time-gas to take you there and back. You do not have enough time-gas to go back to the future and pick up a sports almanac on your way home.

How would I get back if I killed my past self?

I am going to go ahead and come down against the pledge of intelligence. I hated saying that thing in school every day.

Why would I need to kill any of these people?  They're dead in my time already.

Perhaps you don’t like what they did in the past and want to stop them? Maybe you like creating paradoxes.

hmm. that's a good point. Why isn't there a "dont push any button" option?

It doesn’t answer the question. :P

When I made the poll, I was aiming for few or no choices that were obviously “bad” or “evil” because it’s less interesting when there is an obviously “bad” person skewing the results.
