Lucius

Lucius is a Tiefling wizard, a former student of the Ebon Tower.

After the incident that prompted him to leave the Tower, he seems to be cursed (or blessed) with a power that causes him to teleport. He doesn't have any control over this power, but pretends that he does.  The power seems to be oddly helpful, and Lucius suspects that it might be the workings of a god or fate.

Core Motivation: Lucius has devoted himself to gaining more knowledge about the arcane arts, especially those involving the planes.

Description: Lucius likes to think of himself as a imposing and mysterious figure and his dress of long dark clothing and deep, deliberate voice add to his persona.

Personality: Lucius believes there is always some solution to ever problem, although it might not be apparent without research.  Years of study into illusion magic has made him cynical about the failings of intelligent minds, and he doesn't mind manipulating people to advance his goals.  Despite this, he believes in protecting people less powerful than he is.

Interrelationships: I'll add some things here after other people post their backgrounds.

Hopefully Thomas doesn’t mind (too much), but I’ve modified the OP to follow the format I’d like to see.

Don't blame me.  Blame yourself or god.
