If adopting a second and fourth Saturday model is not going to work for people, please speak up now.
Second and fourth is okay with me, but the 26th is my birthday (I forgot to check what day it was).  Will there be cake?
We could probably swing that.  Do you have any special dietary restrictions?
I can pick up a cake this Saturday if we’re actually going to do this.
Yay, cake!  Per dietary restrictions, probably no meat in the cake would satisfy those.

The session for tomorrow will start at 2:00 PM and run until 9:00 PM or so (give or take). Since no one has told me otherwise, I will assume that everyone will be there and plan accordingly.

Edit: Rather than penalize Rob for not posting a bio, I’m going to post a thread tomorrow morning and put what information I know (from how he’s been played, and what has written) about Wrathgar in it.

Or you could have me write a binding character write-up.  I'm sure that Rob would love that.  It would start with the words "from the hills of Latrobe."

Just a reminder that this week’s session starts at 2:00 PM on 10/10/2009. I’ll have a calendar up Friday evening.

I’ve published the session calendar online.

Edit: I fixed the links. I'm going to update the calendar when I get home so that the events are a bit more descriptive.

Next session is (obviously) this Saturday at 2:00 PM. Thomas should be available, but he’s going to let me know if he will not be.

WRATHGAR looks forward to smashing something that is not living a dank, moist hole.

Thomas won’t be available this Saturday, but we should be fine with four.

Edit: I would like to add that the other players from Mike’s game are welcome to play in mine.

Should they express interest:

Game Time is 2 pm. people are willing to provide rides, as the bus, while handy, is not so convenient.

We have:
Tank: Warden WRATHGAR. decent damage taking abilities and buttloads of control, but lacking in punishment.
Controller: Wizard (player thomas). Has an erratic schedule and thus is not always able to attend.
Healer: healbot cleric. capable of taking a warden from "past bloodied and nearly dead" to "back at full health".
Blasters: two. Chauk Chagan, the loony barbarian, and Balsy the the melee sorcerer, both dragonborn.

In summary, we have PLENTY of healing and solid damage dealing. We have one inconsistent wizard, and the only protector has decent control but lacks punishment.

A protector, particularly a mobile one with punishment would be helpful. A controller, or control-heavy splash healer, would be useful. A warlord style leader that can amp up the barbarian and the sorcerer would also be great.

I prefer that new people show up early so they can create characters, etc.

I think calling Sir Balasar Silverbreath “Balsy” is a bad idea.

only because he'd become horribly upset and prance around. Oh wait, that's not a bad thing at all.

Or take it with grace and dignity.  Then spray you with fire later "because he had to for tactical reasons."

And Chalk doesn't have any letters in his name in the later part of the alphabet!   :P

It appears that WotC has managed to make almost every encounter in the next module extremely difficult to impossible to build with dungeon tiles. Woohoo? :flail:
