They do, but PDFs don’t look very good on my bookshelf. :P

I picked up the rest of Kingmaker today, which apparently pushed me over the amount it takes to qualify for a lifetime discount to the Guard Tower. I feel kind of bad about it though because I just started up my Pathfinder subscriptions. :o

Does it annoy anyone else that the scaling on damage die by size is totally screwy?

Ouch, just paid $175 for #1 and #3, but I’m now on my way to having all of the Pathfinder APs.

Rob, is Tian Xia the asian-flavored setting for Pathfinder? People on the Paizo message board seemed pretty excited about the announcement.

Oh, I finally realized what the Pathfinder RPG Bestiary means when it says “other treasure”. It means I’m supposed to add more treasure until the total value is in line with the treasure per encounter guidelines (and treasure is based on APL rather than CR, unlike 3.5e). :joker:

According to ICv2, Pathfinder tied D&D 4e for sales in Q3 2010. This mirrors statements made to me last month by my FLGS (and that Rob claimed were totally wrong).

Wizards must be shitting themselves. In the 3.5e era, Paizo created value for their brand (by publishing Dungeon and Dragon). When they pushed everyone away by abandoning the GSL, the 3PPs turned into direct competitors, and Paizo appears to be eating their lunch.

Doesn't Paizo pay WotC royalties?  Pathfinder is close enough to D&D 3.5 to warrant that unless the license Paizo got was really good, and Hasbro has lawyers.

Paizo doesn’t owe Wizards any royalties. Pathfinder is based on the d20 SRD, which is licensed under the OGL (essentially an open source license). I’ve been told that Wizards/Hasbro’s lawyers have tried to find a way to go after Paizo, but they couldn’t find anything.
