There's a pet that drops off Ahune, an extra boss found in the Slave Pens during the Midsummer Fire Festival. Slave Pens is a low- to mid-60s dungeon instance added in The Burning Crusade.

Rob, if you can get people to agree to let you tag along, you should be able to kill the boss for the achievement. You might not be eligible for the quest from the item that drops off Ahune, but I don't believe you have to turn it in to get credit for the kill.

Yay, Mimiron. :D Mimiron’s the boss that does the P3Wx2 Lasers and transforms into V0-L7R-0N.

This will likely be my last update on this topic, at least as far ass my character status is concerned.

My Tailoring is 398, and my Enchanting is 392, and I've got a Runed Eternum Rod and a Titanium Rod waiting.

My Fishing is roughly 437, my Cooking is about 419, and I have no idea what my First Aid is, other than it's at least 375.

I've got Cold Weather Flying.

I've completed the Loremaster Achievements for Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra, Dragonblight, and Grizzly Hills. I'm currently in Storm Peaks, trying to unlock the Sons of Hodir dailies.

I respeced into the cootie cutter FrostFire build, and while it works GREAT in instances and group quests, it's crap for solo questing. I plan on learning Dual-Spec just so I can run around with a solid, safe Frost Spec when I'm on my own.

Oh yeah, one last thing: I'm level 80. I was at 97% when I went to bed, and got the last 3% by getting up an hour early and doing my dailies.

Faction changes are live.
So a gnome can suddenly become a blood elf?  Do they have some kind of in-game justification for this, or does it just happen?  "Hey guys, I'm an elf now!"

No in-game justification for it.

Like the server transfers and character-re customization options, these are paid (as in cash) services that let players do things they CANNOT do in-game. No IC justification is needed, as it is not really an in-game action.

Blizzard doesn’t really care about world coherence anymore. Ever since Kael’thas showed up in Magisters’ Terrace while also remaining the final boss in The Eye - Tempest Keep, Blizzard hasn’t bothered to resolve NPC duplication anymore as the lore advances let alone justify why a gnome turned into a blood elf.

Why is this a surprise? They ARE blowing up the world, after all.

In honor of 3.2.2, which turns Onyxia into a new level 80 raid, I present this classic video.

I just did the new Onyxia fight, and what a terrible and boring fight it is! It’s way under-tuned so that any retard can do it. I guess it’s fitting that the loot is mostly garbage too.

*grumble grumble*

try it when your party is wearing mostly ilevel 200-219 gear.

Stay away from the walls, tanks go near walls. take out elite mob. Tank her in middle back so her breath weapon always goes down the center, and either direction is good dodge. When dragon flies in air, ranged DPS on her to bring her back down. Somewhere around this point all healers go OOM and we dead 30 seconds later.

Apparently, the fight is easy if you don't need the gear. That only makes it worse.
