Yeah, I would like willpower to go up and down quite a bit.  That'll make it more tempting to use it to get through rough situations.

You are misinterpreting what I said I think.  My idea was to make Willpower the stat that determined when existing craziness in a person manifested.  Gaining a new kind of crazy should be handled differently.
