I seem to recall that we tended to die a lot though...

Do you really think if I prepared some more elaborate NPCs and events in Paranoia you would die less?

No, I think we'd die MORE, on a larger, more epic scale, in far more entertaining ways.

It'll be tough to top the ICBM "incident".

I thought that the series of transmutation-related deaths were better than the ICBM event.

Considering what week it is I don't expect to get a lot of responses in this thread about open games, but I'll be able to check back here occasionally while out of town in case anyone responds.

And to kind of pad my resume a bit, I have a huge number of books on my laptop, so I can be "that guy" if he's needed to reference rules (not a rules lawyer).

I thought that was just any game you played in general.
Excluding Paranoia, it’s been a long time since I had a character die. :P

It's a late post, but my game runs two friday's a month. This month it's second and fourth, usually it's first and third.

if you'd like to join, we have room. We will probably mostly meet at the physics study lounge, though we may occasionally meet at my house, now that I have an air filter and those that are deathly allergic to cats can survive it.

It's a home brew system, I'm testing it out, but it seems to work well so far. I need to get off my lazy butt and make some magic items...

But will the be sigil items, or divine/arcane/psionic magic?

Well, my D&D 4e game could probably use more people. We meet every few weeks-ish. However, we do meet meet off campus.
