Paranoia online tools
« on: October 02, 2008, 08:59:06 PM »
In case people are running Paranoia, there are two resources you might want to use.

Randy and I made a random character generator that I think is a lot more fun than having people roll up characters beforehand.

I've also found the mission blender useful for putting together a quick adventure.

The character generator is very convenient. Are all clones in the 6-pack identical characters? (As obvious as that question might be, I still want to make sure.)

Initially.  And they all know what the other clones know.

Yes, but the clones might not necessarily be mutants, so you can't laser them until you find out.

Exactly. The occurrence of mutants is extremely rare. Friend Computer does not make mistakes, and the process is certainly not inherently flawed, but as Troubleshooters know, Friend Computer does not monitor absolutely everything all the time.

I’m pretty sure suggesting that Friend Computer is not all knowing is treason.

*comes walking back* Of course Friend Computer is all knowing, but it's sometimes necessary to appear as though it does not know everything. How else will it provoke traitors into lasering intelligent loyal citizens?

*lasers Kenada*

Also, I would like to point out that, in its infinite Wisdom, Friend Computer has chosen not to install a sarcasm chip.

You need to get an indigo laser.  His armor protects him against your blue laser.
