Being the formerly insane warforged isn't such a bad idea. That gives the character a good reason to join back up with the party when we meet with the archmage again.

This is of course  unless Randy wants to change the campaign information that I've already released.
I wasn’t planning on it.

Leveled up and modified an old character concept of mine, and here he is.
Victory is ready to make some heads roll.

Looks good. There are two options for your background: 1) that all took place before you were sealed in the tomb (and maybe some of that only happened in your mind), or 2) maybe there are a (very) few warforged that survived in isolation from the Lich, and you are one of them. It’s up to you which you would prefer doing. However, being a newly discovered warforged might be a source of trouble between you and those aware of the Lich’s existence.

* Personally, I hate damage workspaces (and the new sheets in general). Power cards are so much nicer that it makes me wonder if WotC planned to leverage the shittiness of the stock sheets to encourage people to buy packs of power cards. Thomas should be able to make you a sheet of power cards if you want.

I bought several packs of index cards along with 4e, I should be fine.
EDIT: Option 1 sounds good. I put in the blackouts to accommodate for centuries of him not going insane until he snapped and will now be unsnapped.

Background for my character:

Hyune Ouline is a tiefling mage who spends most of his time carousing and living the playboy lifestyle. Comes from an affluent family who spoils him greatly, his demonic heritage manifests as incubus blood. While he enjoys entertaining and being entertained he is "cursed" with too much intelligence. He constantly seeks things to challenge his intellect and break the tedium of high soceity social life. He gets bored rather easily and finds that adventuring and the excitement that comes with that lifestyle, is one of the few things that manage to hold his interest and challenge him. His mother (Sheyuna) and father (Halvaran) are affluent old money that hold a large amount of merchant caste rental property in the city, and dote on him constantly much to his chagrin. His sister (Levanya) is a wealthy proprietress of a Nightclub/brothel/drugden and is also the blacksheep of the family. Hyune has an overinflated sense of self worth and self importance, however he sometimes has a tradgic paladin mentality when it comes to helping out hardluck cases or women in general. Especially his sister who uses this to get him in into all sorts of trouble....

Since adventuring with this party intermittently, Hyune appears to be growing a spine, although he is still a bit cautious when adventuring due to the mass amounts of combat that seem always seem to follow the party... (PARANOIA!)

Goals: Establish himself as a competent renowned wizard
Perhaps find some kind of profitable arrangement with a patron.
Reach a major city, and establish a base for the party to operate from.

Magic Item wishlist: 1-10

Anything with Plus's, implements (orb), armor etc...
Bags of holding are nice too.
Likes illusionary magic...
"Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."

Thanks for the background and motivational information. :) If you haven’t already, make sure you’ve leveled up to 7. I think you get a new encounter power.

Re: Magic Items
Given its low level, you probably won’t be ‘find’ a Bag of Holding on an adventure. With several people having the Enchant Magic Item ritual, there shouldn’t be a problem getting one made.

I’ll be trying to do more RP-ish stuff, but I can’t say I’m particularly good at running it. Most of my D&D experiences as a player have been in fairly combat focused games where even exploring dungeons took second place to kicking in the door and stabbing the baddies.

Note that the lich didn't destroy the warforged, but he actually saved the race from extinction.  He's a hero, in a way. I never said what killed the warforged off so long ago, but it predates the former adventurers' questing.

We talked a bit about power cards today. I believe Thomas uses this tool to create the power sheets for his characters and Mike’s. I haven’t used it, but it seems straight forward.
