Gaming Jan 13

I'm pretty sure I won't be here this weekend, so I'm not really sure where you're meeting.

I haven't gotten to see the SOURCE people yet.  I WILL do it tomorrow morning, and then by tomorrow night I'll post what I find out (which might well be "You're too late").

Jan 10th is today, do you mean Jan 13th?

Uh... yeah.  Sorry.  My brain isn't working all that well today.  ...I fixed it.

SOME of us met this past Saturday.  :)  You should check the forums after 10 am on Friday.  Or give someone your phone number so we can call you and tell you where we're meeting.

Anyway, I didn't realize they hadn't already moved into the stadium (the SOURCE people).  I was pretty sure Guy told me they already had.  In any case, we can't reserve rooms this week because from today until the 16th, they're moving and therefore closed.

On the plus side (for people who aren't me), I may not be going out of town after all, and so my apartment may work fine.  I don't really know yet, though--I'll post again tonight when I actually know.

hmmm.... this 'phone number' concept intrigues me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

There were some magically new cheap flights (in the sense that an hour ago, they were way more expensive, hence the magic part), so David's coming here instead of me going out of town.  So.  I'll be here Saturday, we can meet at my place again, and hopefully David can play Ant again.

If any new people want to show up who don't know where I live:

133 W Blake, Apt C

Blake is 6 blocks north of Lane, and 133 is the second to last building on the left, on the block west of Neil.  There's usually lots of (non-permit) street parking on Blake.

Oh yeah.  And I'm picking David up at the airport Saturday at noon, so I should be back by 1 (at which point it's ok to show up--but I don't expect people until 2).

If it ever becomes a problem, both Thomas and I have access to some rooms on campus.  Thomas's rooms are way cooler than mine though.

You would have to be prepared to witness the power of governmental scientific research grant money in all of its mostly-funded glory.

Well, I don't think it's going to be a problem this quarter--this was the only weekend I'd planned to be out of town.  (Well.  A problem for ME that is. For all I know, other people already have problems with it.)

See, the problem with the rooms I have is that I would almost feel compelled to hold a class or something.  Today, we are going to talk about how the gradient relates to isoclines!

I know I'm not a part of the group, but is it cool if I come and observe?  I've been itching to at least even see an M:tAw game played.

I don't bite, I promise.   ;D
