Odd behavior when linking to the forum from the polyatomic.org site

When I was using my brother's computer to read the forum, I got some weird error when linking to it from the polyatomic.org main site.  I don't know if it was just his computer or it had something to do with the link itself.  I'll copy down the specific error if I get a chance; I don't normally have access to his computer.

There might be some weirdness if you go to http://polyatomic.org instead of http://www.polyatomic.org 

Other than that, I'm not sure what the problem could be.
