Anyway, Banana Slap could potentially be fun, but it seems like a a ripoff of a perfectly good game with a stupid gimmick added. There's a game almost exactly like it that can be played with a standard deck of cards. I don't know what it's called (we called it the slap game).
Everyone turns over a card in the center. if there are no matches, the cards stay. if there is a match, everyone slaps the pile. the first person to hit it takes the pile. if you run out of cards, you are out.
This banana game sounds like they stole the Slap Game and added a few 'unique' cards that probably have you cover your eyes, or ears, or mouth, or something stupid like that.
I'm all for playing the Slap Game, but don't waste your money on a blatant ripoff. It's like buying a game called LaserKing that's just chess with the King being able to shoot people.
