We are now at the point where characters might find out about legacies or form their own. Rob's new character will soon have one, and Thomas's character will soon have one as well. If you want your character to have a legacy, please let me know about it so we can come up with a good concept, possible attainments, political structure, etc. Most of the core book legacies are good as-is, as are the ones from Legacies: the Sublime, the Tome of the Watchtowers, and the Guardians of the Veil book. Left-handed legacies are fair game for joining if you want to make your character into a bad guy. Note also that certain legacies are "double-handed" as well, like the Bokor, Clavicularius, and Subtle One legacies.
I will be handling legacies in a slightly different way than they are handled in the core book. The usual Gnosis, Arcana, etc. requirements will still be in effect. Also, certain legacies may give your character new responsibilities (or allies, enemies, rivals, etc.). Inducting someone into your legacy still costs a Willpower dot. The main difference here is that after joining a legacy, each attainment will cost 10/15/20 experience up front instead of 1-2 experience points a session afterward. This front-loading has the effect of lowering the cost per attainment. Gaining attainments will also require some sort of twisted "graduation" ceremony.
