Oh, uh, it was like regular school but with ninjas. They taught us a few techniques and basic ninja compsure. It was okay I guess, but I still need a lot of practice with my Ninjutsu. Not everything can be solved by punching, though I try to.

"Well, my mother teaches me in the healing arts as well as some Earth based ninjutsu so if either you or Hiya wishes to train with me, all you have to do is ask."

"Hurry up slowpokes! It's getting dark fast." Ina hurries the party back to the town gates an hour past moonlight.
"That was good teamwork you had back there. I'll take him, you take these, I'll take take that, and your Buru will be in your accounts. Your next mission will be in five days at this time. So get gettin'!" In her flurry of pronouns she nonchalantly drops the highwaymen of at the police marker at the gate, hands each of you a ninja-com from the highwaymen, and takes the heavy crate from Akira with one hand.

[+7 to wealth and everyone is at 2725xp. That's only 275xp from Lv3. Now make your 5 days of downtime write-up! As another note, disregard shopping times. Ninja villages should have everything you need, so if you're buying a lot of stuff, make it a full day. If it's a few pricey things, half day. If not, it takes no time.
Everyone now also has a ninja-com, which is basically a handless, stealth, radio.]

On the 1st day of her 5 day break, Tsubaki decides to train with her mother/mentor. "Hello, mother. What shall we be learning this time?"

"Tsubaki, I feel it's about time to further your medical training. This time we shall be learning the Poison Detection technique. You never know when a ninja will use poison against you or your team. Come, let's begin." Given her low chakra, Tsubaki can only spend a half-day on training so it will take 4 half-days or 2 full days to learn.

Day 1: Doku Hakken no Jutsu Learn Check (1d20 6=17) (Success)
Day 2:Doku Hakken no Jutsu Learn Check (1d20 6=15) (Success)
Day 3:Doku Hakken no Jutsu Learn Check (1d20 6=8)   (Fail)
Day 4: Doku Hakken no Jutsu Learn Check (1d20 6=21)  (Double Success)

By day 4, she successfully learned Doku Hakken no Jutsu. On the final day, Tsubaki decided to go on a bit of a shopping spree, kunoichi style. She bought a tonfa and a +3 battle vest. She also got her new tonfa and her old quarterstaff infused with the latent energy of earth and wind which can be activated by using chakra. Tsubaki's welath went down from 19 to 16.

Akira decides to sleep in on the first day of the break. He figures that he’s earned it after that last battle with the highwaymen. On the second day, he decides to spend the rest of the time continuing the development of his technique.

Akira starts the training with 5⁄5 chakra. Due to his regeneration rate of 4, he will have 5⁄5 chakra at the end of training.

Day 2: DC 14 learn check for Samanosuke Style2014First Stance (1d20 1=2)
Day 3: DC 14 learn check for Samanosuke Style—First Stance (1d20+3=16)

This final success allows Akira to finish developing his new techinque. In celebration, he spends the remaining two days sleeping in.

Akira also went shopping and purchased some upgraded equipment. He purchases a Mastercraft Mystical Chisa-gatana (+1 hit and damage), a Mastercraft Mystical Knuckle Blade (+1 hit and damage), and a Mastercraft Heavy Vest (+2 to armor). This equals a Purchase DC of 21 and lowers his wealth by 3 to +15.

Hiya heads to the nearest clearing with some trees for the next few days and tries to master Tobi Kunai.
Day One: DC15 Tobi Kunai, First Mastery (1d20+2=6) FAILURE
Day Two: DC15 Tobi Kunai, First Mastery (1d20+4=15) SUCCESS
Day Three: DC15 Tobi Kunai, First Mastery (1d20+2=10) FAILURE
Day Four: DC15 Tobi Kunai, First Mastery (1d20 4=16) SUCCESS

After training most of the days, Hiya goes to the ninja armory and purchases the following.
100 Tuned Throwing Needles [+1atk]
30 Tuned Shuriken [+1atk]
1 Ninja-to with Runed Wrappings [+1atk&dmg]
1 Reinforced Battle Vest [+1def]
1 Re-forged Fuuma Shuriken with an aura of Wind [+2atk, Wind]
[His wealth decreased from +18 to +15.]

A few hours before the mission, each team member gets a parcel from the Iwagakure Central Offices of Shinobi. Apparently, a flaw was prevalent in the making of ninja headbands until now and a new one is included in the large envelope. It also mentions in the fine text the charge for replacing them was from the individual ninja's account. [Everyone's Wealth is now +10. The GM has spoken! Plot for the next arc will be coming soon.]
