"Whoops. Now we've got to get her away from this hay and get her back to the ranch," says Tsubaki while sweatdropping. "Hmm, I think Burta likes me enough, so I'll try to lure her back to the ranch with some of this hay. Akira, could you help me out by carrying that big bale for me?"

Sure, no problem!” Akira says as he snatches the bale from Burta, hoists it over his head and heads back towards the ranch.

Burta happily follows the green cube of food back toward the ranch, eating a considerable part of the bale on the way here. You return to the ranch and Akira soundly heaves the feed into the fenced area. The rancher opens the gate to the fence and then closes it after Burta trots back in.
"Thanks for rounding her up for me," says the rancher in a clearer voice than before. "My name is Ina Kita, and I'm your Chuunin," she boasts with a mild smile. She then pulls out her headband out from under her straw hat and ties it around her waist like a cosmetic belt. "I guess I have some things to explain. Yes, my Burta did escape. Such a trouble for a cow. Sometimes I think she's on near-human level," Ina nervously looks around to see Burta finishing off the cube of feed. "Sorry about having to dress like this, my normal clothes are drying out right now after I had to sort a hide of beef this morning. Boring work when not in the field, but I guess everyone needs something to pull in buru when the nin-front isn't hot. If you don't have any questions, you have the rest of the day to do as you wish. The money for a D-Rank mission will be added to your accounts" [Half-day remains.]

"Thank you, Ina-sensei. And thank you, Akira for being such a great help. Well, if you excuse me, I need to ask Ina-sensei about something." She turns to her sensei and asks, "Ina-sensei, could I ask you something in private?"

"If you want the birds and the bees, ask your parents. What's up?" she jokingly asks.

Tsubaki blushed, No, no, that's not it at all." She whispered into her sensei's ear because she didn't want Akira to hear her. "Would you happen to know where I could obtain a spirit bottle?"

"Why would you need one of those?" she said loudly. "You have an adequate amount of chakra, don't you?"

"Shh! Please don't announce it, Ina-sensei. I don't want people to think I'm a weakling. So could you pretty please tell me where to get some?" Tsubaki whispered looking very embarrassed.

"Let me grab one from the house..." She arrives several minutes later with a small bottle and tosses it to Tsubaki. "I'll deduct it from your payment. You do know the danger of these, right?" she questions. "Do you have any questions or concerns, Akira?"

"The danger is that you have a horrible time with controlling your chakra after consuming it."

Why’d you disguise yourself sensei?” Akira asks Ina-sensi.

Are there some badguys you need us to beat up, ’cause I’m really good at that,” he boasts before doing a few punches in the air, spinning about on one foot, and then striking a triumphant pose.

"I didn't disguise myself, I just didn't wear a headband. According to the cell leading course I should tell you about ninja anonymity or some such, but I feel lessons are more impressionable when in actual raining, not some D-Rank test." She let this settle in and then said, "The next time we'll meet is tomorrow at training ground 3C, 8:30am. Try not to oversleep, Akira, okay? Or else you'll get to train against me." After making possibly the vaguest threat ever, Ina goes back to tending the cattle.
[Tsubaki receives a +1 to wealth and Akira receives a +2 to wealth. A half-day remains to be spent. GO!]

"Well, I'd better go back home to train. See you tomorrow, Akira!" Tsubaki said, waving goodbye to her new teammate and sensei. She returns to her house to prepare for her mission.

"Tsubaki, welcome home! How was your first mission?" asked Tsubaki's father.

"It went wonderfully. Ina-sensei and Akira are great. The mission was a total success." Tsubaki said smiling. "So, Father, do know where Mother is? I need to do some training today.

"She's right here," Moriko said from right behind Tsubaki. "You mentioned something about training?"

"Yes, I'd like to learn Genwakudoro no Jutsu. I want to make sure I can hold my own in a mission."

"Come, let's begin," Moriko said.

[Learn Check for Genwakudoro no Jutsu (1d20+5=23)]

Tsubaki trained hard the rest of the day. To her delight, she discovered she had a better handle on chakra control than she had originally thought, so she decided to save her spirit bottle for later. She completed a day's worth of training in that half-day.

[After resting for the night, Tsubaki is 3/4 on chakra.]

Worried about being late again, Akira purchases an alarm clock on his way home. He tries to study for a bit but is eventually distracted by his army men again. Fortunately, he gets to bed at a reasonable time and sets the alarm so that he’s not late again.

Tsubaki woke up early again, as she always ends up doing. It was another routine morning: wake up, clean up, dress up, eat up.  Before leaving her house, she went to the garden in the backyard and gathered some sakura blossoms. She went back inside the house and went into a special room. She put the blossoms in a vase in front of a shrine. This shrine is for the founder of the Hayashi clan, Sakura Hayashi. She prayed in front of this shrine for good luck on this mission, as all members of this clan do. She then left for the 3C training ground with plenty of time to spare.
