Fuzzy Knights RPG

Yes, this webcomic about small plushies that play RPGs has spawned a tabletop role-playing game.  Of course, even the second edition of it is still quite experimental (I've actually created some content that might be in third edition, it deals with scavenging and will include an upgraded equipment catalog as well.  I'm going to deal with a wider range of RC vehicles while I'm at it...just a few varieties of stuff, like a petrol-driven RC car.)

Thus, I want to get in some playtesting time and GM experience trying it out on you folks.  I'll be the tall brown bespectacled guy with the big army backpack and the Rodan plushie at the meeting.

Bill, heavily armed plush velociraptor:

I couldn't get the SOURCE to make copies of that book you gave me because of the copyright.  Do you just want character sheets, or is there another version that I could convince them to print that wouldn't be as objectionable?

For the time being, all members interested should run off the free version simply to get a look at it

Ach.  Just run the character sheets, I'll try and print up an extra B&W copy of the Fuzzy Guide (2nd Edition) on my own hardware.  I don't think we'll be running on the first day of this, I want to find time to scrape together a few more adventures for this.

I'm not sure how I feel about the mechanics.  From reading the text (well, skimming, I'm supposed to be reading other more academic-oriented stuff), it appears that it's intended to be a story-oriented game, and intends to give players some power over the story.  I'm not positive the mechanics support that, but I'm definitely interested in giving it a try and seeing, because the concept is kind of neat.  (I have said I'm interested in several things, though, so I may or may not have other commitments.)

Yeah, it's going to need a bit of time for me to truly understand it.  Some things don't make sense, personally, but that's the fun of playing with a Beta...you can pull out the red pen on the fly.

EDIT:  9/21/07
I ran off a ream at Baker just now, I've got four B&W copies of the Fuzzy Guide and an extra copy of the GM's Manual.

Do you still need extra character sheets?

Taken care of, I've got at least six unbound ones, maybe eight.  Tomorrow's going to be more of a discussion and tinkering session anyway.
