Plenty of people nowadays have vanity webpages, and I finally gave into my ego and bought myself one of my very own. After deciding on a domain name that I would be happy with (the second-hardest part of making a webpage), I looked around for a cheap webhost and decided on NetworksData. They've been fairly feature-filled, gave access to a shell account, and haven't had any downtime of any significance, so I've been fairly happy with them so far. Meanwhile, I'm still dealing with the hardest part of making a webpage, actually having readable content.
I actually stole the html layout and css from waferbaby.com, but the html comments said I could if I gave credit. Hopfully this paragraph will put me in the clear :-). I could write decent html if I have to, but I liked the clean look of their design, and I'll probably stick with it untill I have enough time to hammer out a brand new design. Thanks for the nice design, Dan. :-)
I'm now using nucleus for all the news posts to the site and slightly abusing it for the links page. Also, I'm now generating the quotes page on the fly using PHP (my first project in PHP).
